Crystal Palace are interested in signing former Chelsea and Real Madrid attacking midfielder Eden Hazard in the summer transfer window, according to . Hazard is a free agent at the moment following his departure from La Liga club Madrid at the end of last season, and Premier League outfit Palace are keen on him.
The report has claimed that Palace chief Steve Parish believes that Hazard still has something to offer despite his persistent injury problems in recent years. Much was expected of the Belgian when he moved to Madrid, but the former Chelsea star, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, struggled badly with injury problems during his time at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Palace are a big and established club in the Premier League and will be determined to finish in the top half of the table this season. While Hazard has done well in the past, his injury problems at Madrid do make a huge risk for the Eagles.
